About the job
Digihub Africa is seeking an experienced and passionate AI Consultant (Nonprofit Digital Capacity Building) to support AI literacy and ethical AI adoption across civil society and nonprofit organizations in Africa.
This is an independent freelance consultancy role focused on delivering practical, accessible, and impact-driven AI training sessions for nonprofits, youth initiatives, researchers, journalists, and community organizations.

Engagement Model
• Independent freelance consultancy
• Payment per training session/module
• Each training module consists of approximately 6 hours
• Consultant responsible for own tax obligations
• Remote and/or in-person engagements depending on project needs
Requirements
• Must be a South African citizen or legal resident
• Experience delivering AI trainings and workshops
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to simplify AI concepts for non-technical audiences
• Experience working with nonprofits or community-based organizations is an advantage
• Familiarity with African digital challenges and opportunities is highly desirable
